The Pacific Coast Builders Conference (PCBC) is the annual conference and trade show for the California Building Industry Association (CBIA) and the Leading Builders of America (LBA).
Our common values and objectives align perfectly and both groups work together and respond to critical issues: CBIA at the state level and LBA at the federal level. The Stage is Set for Something New
Since our founding in 1959 as the Pacific Coast Builders Conference (PCBC), we grew from a small educational conference to a powerful, four-day experience with an exhibit showcase, multiple high-level conference offerings, targeted buyer/seller exchange opportunities, prestigious awards ceremonies, and innovative product launches. For PCBC 2025, the stage is set for something new as we bring everyone together – attendees, exhibitors, sponsors – on one level for displays, social activations, Key Buyers Connect, keynotes, Pitchfest, and more.

The California Building Industry Association is a statewide trade association based in Sacramento representing thousands of member companies including homebuilders, trade contractors, architects, engineers, designers, suppliers and industry professionals in the homebuilding, multi-family and mixed-use development markets. As the premier advocate for California’s homebuilding industry, we remain focused on our number one priority: successfully promoting the homebuilding industry’s interests in the State Capitol and in the Governor’s Office, as well as before numerous regulatory agencies.
CBIA Members build nearly 9 out of 10 new housing units annually in California, including charity homes, legally defined affordable housing, middle-class market-rate housing, and luxury homes.

Leading Builders of America represents 21 of the largest homebuilders in America and they endorse PCBC exclusively as their official event. LBA's members include many of the largest homebuilding companies in North America including publicly traded and privately held companies. LBA’s purpose is to preserve home affordability for American families. They do this by carefully evaluating the public policy dialog at the federal and state level and becoming actively engaged in issues that have the potential to impact home affordability. |
